Batteries used for seasonal use (not year round) : Due to the self-discharge characteristics of this type of battery, it is imperative that charging should be done within 6 months of storage, otherwise permanent loss of capacity might occur as a result of sulfation. Deep cycle batteries are strongly recommended for seasonal use applications : battery operated lawn mower, golf cart, golf caddy ,etc
Permanent loss of capacity (Due to sulfation) :
A battery might only be able to be charged to a reduced full capacity at
75% or less of its original capacity rating. Example :
a 21 ahr battery becomes a 15ahr battery (or less) due to sulfation (chemical reaction inside battery)
Caution with use / charging :
This battery is not suitable for use with motorcycles, snow mobiles, scooters, mopeds, ATV / quads, watersports, snowmobiles, UTVs – not CCA rated

A smart charger is required for charging – fast / float mode.
A general purpose ac/dc power supply adapter is not compatible, missing the components to sense when a battery is fully charged.
Swelling can occur, if the wrong type of charger is used - warranty will be void.
